We went to the farm yesterday. This is what we saw.

This is grandson David.  I’ve told you about him. This is the reason that you haven’t seen very many new posts on my blog. I’ve been really, really busy with David.  I’ve been working this summer, too. So, between David [...]

As you can probably tell, I have been really, really busy. It’s a wonderful busy that I wouldn’t trade for anything in the world. Four year old wonders-grandsons are just the best. This is a picture from the top of a hill in Port Townsend overlooking the Sound.

Baker Theater 2, originally uploaded by Gail Coulter.
Bellingham is full of historic buildings and wonderful places to visit. But like any city that has history behind it, there are also some challenges (not drawbacks, but rather surprises). The challenge here is driving to these wonderful places to visit, these historic buildings. The reason for this confusion [...]

Steven, I want to tell you what a wonderful man and father I think you are. The biggest gift you can give your children is your presence and active participation. I see this in you all the time. I saw you take little David rock climbing (and you’re a really [...]

Rural Roads – Barns along the Way

June 20, 2009

Two dogs came out to greet me. Greeted me like a long lost friend. Tails wagging, smiles on their faces, “Come on in and sit a spell.” Going out to take pictures of barns along rural roads has its advantages.
