Crossing the Sound

The Sound was gray that morning. But it wasn’t the kind of gray that wrapped the world in a soft neutral cocoon. It was the gray that had shards of light and the promise of flashes of sun. And indeed the sun did come out. And then the San Juans were something to see.

The San Juans are one of my favorite spots in the whole wide world. Thank you for taking me back there with your picture. Even when it’s cold and grey, the sun does have a way of shining through. It is so beautiful there!

WAit til you see the other pictures of the San Juans. They are great (at least “I” think so.) I haven’t had nearly enough of the San Juans. I want to take my bike over and bike them. I plan on that sometime this summer. I couldn’t believe how absolutely wonderful it was.

Hope you had a great 4th. We sure did. I have been working at my new web blog which I have moved. You will see the new URL available now.

Remember, this is just a quickstart. It will be worked on much, much more.
